The Malbim interprets the next two pesukim together
In Whose hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are His. For the sea is His, He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.
The Malbim refers back to the idea he mentioned at the start of the perek explains the flow of these pesukim to read as follows.
Compared to all other powers He is the greatest Power and a great King because in His hand are the depths of the earth and the heights of the mountains are His. The nations of the world can come to an awareness of Hashem because of His power and ability to create awesome natural phenomena such as the Grand Canyon, Mount Everest and the Mariana Trench (the deepest part of the ocean).
However, we the Jewish people recognise Hashem because of His involvement in our lives, both on a personal and national level.
The difference being that the recognition that the nations of the world come to is limited and does not form the basis of a relationship in the way that is does for us.
